Writing task for the week

 Last year in term 4 at school it was the prize giving they were going to announce the middle sportsperson of the year. I held my breath to see if it was me and it was me. I went up the stairs and I was so proud of myself. I added it to my medals and certificates for sport. I have got the junior sportsperson of the year. I also have lots of medals and trophies from football and running. This year I want to get the middle sportsperson of the year. Since my older brother Ben got into RI (remuera intermediate) I will be going there and so I can not get the sener sportsperson of the year so I want the middle sportsperson of the year. I try my best in athletics and cross-country.  I enter every sports team apart from ruby and touch.

Fire and Ace videos

Today I watched the videos from the Fire and Ace page on the class site.  They were on Integrity and Fun. 

Pool time!!

 Sometimes when i get hot I go and have a swim in the pool. I heat the pool so it nice and warm. Me and my brother have to brush the pool and get all of the leaves out. If its a cold day then I go in the spa.  We have lots of pool toys.

I could see Venus from my deck!!

 

Last night my mum came and said come to the deck we can see Venus. The bright one is the moon and the other one is Venus. We thought that it was a really bright star.

Today for the maths task we have to play this game. I had fun. I got up to level 6 and then I needed to go and help my baby sister.

Imagine if writing

  We got a new neighbour and his house was very dark. He always got his shopping delivered to his house and he was very into batman. Then the next morning I went and knocked on the front door and Batman came out. I was thinking so many things like why he is so into Batman and why he's house is so dark. Then after a long pause I said “ Hi I live next door, My name is Robben. Are you the real Batman?” Then he replied “ Yes I am the real Batman.” Then this guy in a black hoodie and black pants tried to hit me on the head, luckily I do Taekwondo. I grabbed his arm and pulled him over my arm and he landed on the ground. Batman was impressed he clapped and clapped. Then we became friends and I went to his batcave. Then he asked me if I would like to be his Partner. We fourt bad guys and put them in prison.

 Today my family and I went for a bike ride to get a new collar for our dog. She needed a new one because we went for a walk to Churchill Park she was rolling in cow poo. Her new one is blue.

Writing task

 Yesterday in the late afternoon  Aly, August and I went for a run. We go for runs often. We go for runs for a few reasons.  One of them is  to stay fit and to get out of the house and to have some fun. 

I could smell lots of things like when we ran past Churchill Park and we could smell cow poo. Then we were running in the back streets of Churchill Park and we could smell jasmine flowers. I love peanut butter and my dog does too . Most of the time I have a peanut butter sandwich  before running or a banana. 

Me and Aly could see lots of things like flowers, pukekos, chalk drawings, cows and a long line for a cafe. We could hear dogs barking, trucks, bike bells and the cafe workers saying names so the people would come and get their order. Yesterday we went  on a different route than normal. We went through the back streets of  Churchill Park, we went past Sacred Heart and  glendowie school and Crossfield skatepark. 

I had so much fun on this run, because of lockdown I have been going for more runs. Do you like to go running?  

this is the writing task for this week. The task was to write a recount of something that you did in lockdown. I picked my run that I did.

 In lockdown our teacher dose not put up hand writing tasks but I like to do hand writing so I just do it. Today I have done the ABC and the full date and the vowels. Its got a smudge because I could not be bothered to go and get my rubber so I used my brothers and its really bad.

Making a house out of paper

 

Today in the morning I made a house out of paper. I have this book called "The kids book of paper lover." In it has lots of paper and craft,play and share. There is so many things in the book.

Walk

 Today I went for a walk with my Mama and baby sister Mackenzie.  Mackenzie loved the walk because she got to see the horses. She was really excited to see them.  Some of the way she got pushed n the pram and the other part of it she walked and holded my finger. She kept going back to this puddle and we crossed the bridge  2 times because Mackenzie loved going over it. At the start Mama had seen this facebook post saying that there was a orca in the bay at 10:30 so that's why we start to go for the walk to see if we could see the orka and this  magpie was dive bombing us and I done like them. She is now going for a sleep. after the walk we came home and me and Ben my older brother played on the tramp with Mackenzie. When Mama had heated up lunch we tried to tell here that it was lunch time but she said no. so we had to carry her inside. Mackenzie thought that the  bird was real so she was talking to it.
